Mr. Aranson,
who for many years acted and directed in the Irish Theatre,
performs many poems as he tells the story of W.B. Yeats and
comments on the people, places and events associated with him,
including Lady Gregory, John Synge, Maude Gonne, Sean
O'Casey, The Abbey Theatre and the Irish Revolution. Also
included are poems of Oscar Wilde, Henry Carey, and Patrick
Pearse. Miss Cummings sings songs by many Irish composers
including Thomas Moore, Percy French to name a few. You will
hear Down By The Sally Gardens, The Isle of Innisfree,
Mountains of Mourne, Danny Boy and many others.
